About Joseph Bastian
Hello, I’m Joseph Bastian, and I’m running to serve you on the Loganville City Council At-Large. I believe in building bridges — between neighbors, generations, and ideas — so our entire city can move forward together.
I currently work as a Financial Associate, where I bring precision, accountability, and people-first problem-solving to every challenge. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Management from Florida A&M University and a Master’s Degree in Digital Financial Technology from Kennesaw State University. These degrees reflect both my commitment to public service and my forward-thinking approach to modern solutions.
I’ve also volunteered with organizations like Junior Achievement of Georgia and Learning in Color, working to empower youth and revitalize learning environments throughout the Atlanta area.
In 2023, my husband and I made Loganville our home — drawn by its charm, diversity, and untapped potential. I’m an active member of The Bridge Church of Barrow, where I find inspiration in faith and community. I am also proudly affiliated with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., where leadership, service, and uplift are lifelong values I live by.
Now, I’m stepping up to serve because I believe we can improve the quality of life for all Loganville residents — not just some. Whether you’ve been here for generations or just arrived, your voice matters, and I want to make sure it’s heard at City Hall.
Why I’m Running
Loganville is growing — and it deserves bold, inclusive leadership that brings fresh ideas and real solutions to the table. My campaign is focused on making our city stronger, more connected, and more welcoming for every family.
Here’s what I’m fighting for:
A State-of-the-Art Dog Park that creates a safe, beautiful space for pets and people alike
Youth Internships and Summer Jobs through partnerships with major Atlanta-based companies
“Loganville Day” — a new annual tradition celebrating community service, unity, and local pride
Smarter Transit Solutions for underserved neighborhoods, particularly in the Gwinnett portion of Loganville.
I may be a new face in Loganville politics, but I’m not new to leadership. I’ve spent my life building relationships, solving problems, and working to make communities better. With your support, we’ll build a Loganville that works for everyone
